Learning Tools & Training Content

Designed for Understanding and Retention

Effective learning only happens when people can absorb, apply and retain information in real-world situations.

OSP designs training and educational content that transforms complex information into clear, engaging learning experiences. From healthcare and scientific education to onboarding, public engagement and behaviour-change programmes, we create learning tools that improve understanding, support confidence and encourage practical action.

Effective education is about more than delivering information — it’s about helping people understand, retain and apply knowledge confidently in real-world situations.

What we do

We create learning systems and educational content designed around how real people learn — helping organisations communicate specialist information more clearly and effectively.

We often start with dense, linear source materials and transform them into structured learning experiences that are easier to navigate, absorb and retain. This includes simplifying information architecture, identifying opportunities for interactivity and adapting content into more engaging formats such as quizzes, infographics, animation, video and digital learning tools. Our team works closely with subject matter experts to ensure learning remains accurate, accessible and audience-appropriate while supporting editing, proofing and content refinement throughout the process.

Typical project deliverables

  • eLearning modules and SCORM-ready content (for LMS)
  • Training systems and educational frameworks
  • Behaviour-change and awareness programmes
  • Onboarding and induction materials
  • Educational videos, animation and motion graphics
  • Workbooks, quick-reference guides and study aids
  • Interactive PDFs, microsites and digital toolkits
  • Quizzes, assessments and learner feedback tools
  • Condition- and disease-awareness resources

Why choose OSP as your creative partner

We design learning experiences around real users, recognising the pressures of limited time, high cognitive load and specialist subject matter. By combining instructional thinking, creative communication and experience in regulated and technical sectors, we create training that feels clear, engaging and accessible without losing accuracy or credibility.

Our focus is always on clarity and usability: structuring information in ways that reduce confusion, improve retention and support meaningful outcomes.

What this means for you:

  • Learning designed around real-world users and environments
  • Clear structure that reduces confusion and cognitive overload
  • Creative approaches that improve engagement and retention
  • Confidence in accuracy, accessibility and compliance
  • Training that supports practical application and behaviour change

FAQs

How do you know whether a training programme has been successful?

We agree what success should look like before designing the content. Depending on the objective, that may include completion, assessment results, confidence, observed behaviour, fewer errors or improved performance. We can then design the learning and measurement approach around outcomes that matter rather than relying only on attendance or completion.

How do you work with subject-matter experts who have limited time?

We make their input focused. Rather than asking experts to write the training themselves, we can review source material, draft the structure and identify the specific decisions or technical points that need their attention. Clear review stages and consolidated feedback help reduce repeated meetings and unnecessary rewriting.

Can you work with our LMS or existing learning platform?

Usually, yes. We can design content around the technical requirements of your learning environment and work with your internal LMS team or platform provider. We establish requirements such as screen sizes, tracking, completion rules and publishing formats early so the content is designed for the environment in which it will actually run.

Can training content be updated and reused after launch?

Yes. We can design modular content so individual sections, examples or assets can be updated without rebuilding the whole programme. We can also plan reusable graphics, animation and reference materials that work across onboarding, refresher training, presentations and supporting communications.

Can you build assessments, knowledge checks and interactive learning activities?

Yes. We can create knowledge checks, scenarios, quizzes, branching activities and other interactions aligned to the learning objectives. We can also help decide what actually needs to be assessed and what simply needs reinforcement, avoiding unnecessary testing that adds friction without improving learning.

How do you keep learners engaged in digital training?

Engagement comes from relevance and good learning design, not interaction for its own sake. We use appropriate scenarios, questions, visual explanations, demonstrations and opportunities to apply knowledge. We will avoid adding clicks, games or animation unless they genuinely help the learner understand or remember something.

Can you create training for technical, scientific or healthcare audiences?

Yes. OSP has long experience communicating complex and technical subjects. We can work with your subject-matter experts to develop clear learning content while preserving the detail and terminology the audience needs. Where formal medical or regulatory review is required, we can incorporate those approval stages into the project plan.

Can you create eLearning modules from existing presentations or training materials?

Yes. We can review existing slides, manuals, videos and reference materials, then rationalise them into a clearer learning journey. We do not simply convert every slide into a screen; we identify what should be taught, practised, referenced or removed so the digital experience earns its place.

Can you help us decide whether we need eLearning, a workshop or another training format?

Yes. We recommend the format after considering the learning objective, audience, environment, available time, facilitation and need for assessment or tracking. Sometimes an eLearning module is right; sometimes a facilitated session, toolkit, video or blended approach will be more effective and more economical.

How do you turn complex subject matter into effective training content?

We start by identifying what learners need to know, understand or do differently, then separate essential learning from supporting detail. We work with subject-matter experts to structure the content, challenge overload and use clear narratives, visuals and activities to make complex information easier to absorb and apply.
