Proveca | Making Specialist Patient Education Easier to Follow

The Challenge

Proveca needed an accessible educational film to help parents and carers of young children understand important medicine administration information. The challenge was to communicate a practical, potentially unfamiliar process clearly and sensitively without overwhelming the audience or making the resource feel promotional. The content also needed to meet medical and regulatory review requirements and accommodate different languages and markets.

Our Thinking & Solution

We approached the brief from the perspective of the people using the resource. Rather than relying on dense written instructions or technical diagrams, we used 3D animation to communicate the approved information in a clear visual sequence, supported by approachable characters and environments drawn from Proveca’s established paediatric identity.

Careful pacing, clear visual storytelling and a consistent treatment of each stage helped make the information easier to follow while reducing reliance on spoken language. Working within the client’s review and approval process, we designed the animation for adaptation across international markets.

The Impact

The result was an approved, multilingual educational animation for parents and carers, subsequently used internationally. It provided a consistent, approachable way to present detailed information to a family audience, while demonstrating how audience-led creative thinking can make regulated healthcare communications clearer.
