Biopharmaceutical Congress Analytics (without wifi) | Turning Engagement into Insight

Giving a global life sciences client clearer evidence of how people use its congress content.

“OSP is always open for improvements and discussions on possible solutions – which is appreciated. The collaboration with OSP has been a great and successful one since I started working with you two years ago. The team is relaxed but professional, able to deliver consistently across multiple booths and congress activities, no matter how many we had in a year (16 in 2023)."

01 • THE CHALLENGE

Plenty of engagement. Not enough insight.

An interactive exhibition tool was attracting healthcare professional engagement, but the client lacked reliableevidence of which content delegates explored and how interests varied across international events.

02 • THE thinking & Doing

Capturing the data, even without Wi-Fi.

OSP designed and developed an offline-first analytics platform in four weeks. It captured interactions locally and synchronised them to a secure Microsoft Azure environment when connectivity wasrestored, addressing the realities of unreliable congress Wi-Fi.

A reporting portal used filterable tables, graphs and visual summaries to highlight engagement patterns and compare content pathways across events.

The offline-first analytics system capturedinteractions locally before securely synchronising to Microsoft Azure whenconnectivity returned, enabling reporting across congresses.

03 • RESULTS & IMPACT

Turning interactions into actionable insight.

The platform was delivered on time andprovided the client with evidence to shape future congress content, event planning and engagement strategy, extending the value of its exhibition investment beyond each event.

"Even with lots of changes and last-minute requests, OSP always accepted feedback, considered it, and presented further solutions and alternatives. They went the extra mile supporting ad hoc activities outside the original scope, and their flexibility, organisation, and almost 24/7 responsiveness were invaluable.”
